Hailing from the eastern shores of Rhode
Island, Grinn & Barrett owner Jen Beirola has
spent the past six years building her chops as a tattoo
artist. Originally apprenticing with Jimbo at Crash Tattoo,
she took up residence at G & B under the skilled tutelage
of Dick Warsocki. Jen jumped into business when she bought
Grinn & Barrett in March 2006 and is continuing
the outstanding reputation of the shop.
In her early days, Jen spent time juggling
active military duty, tattooing, and a hefty college schedule.
Her passion for ink eventually took over and she dedicated
her life to the art of tattoo. She finds creative inspiration
at tattoo conventions and has left her mark on a loyal following
of men and women who share her vision of a more colorful
future.
With a sharp eye and even sharper needle,
she enjoys turning customer ideas into life-long works of
art. In what time off she does have, Jen likes to travel,
snorkel and create fine art in her home studio.
