Jeremiah developed his interest in body art at a young age when he occupied his time by drawing on himself when he was just a wee lad. Not surprisingly, he started hanging out at local tattoo shops before he was even old enough to get inked. Like many budding artists, Jeremiah went to college for art, but also like many artists, dropped out over creative differences with the instructor. Deciding this was a sign of better things to come, he schooled himself by getting his own collection of tattoos and traveling with some of the best artists in the industry before pursuing an apprenticeship. Finding inspiration at Grinn and Barrett, Omaha's oldest established and best tattoo studio, Jeremiah secured an apprenticeship in November of 2006. He enjoys new school designs and color studies influenced by Greek sculpture. Other inspirations include his little girl and her soon to be born sister. He also loves potatoes, reading and studies of the occult. If you run into him at the shop, ask him what his specialties are, cause we can't print them here… |
